This is one of my pet peeves and I mention it to younger people I know who tend to put all aspects of their life out there on the web. I don't feel that much older than the students coming into law school. But in the time since I graduated undergrad (2002) social sites have become a way of life for many people in the current age group of incoming 1L's and especially younger. Because many are so immersed in it, they don't think about how certain things come off as extremely unprofessional and could cost them any chance at a job.
